This page explains how Auto Supply Guide researches, writes and updates its articles.

Our sources

We use manufacturer specifications, installation guides and manuals, owner’s manual guidance (for example the tire pressure placard and jacking points), and public safety information from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and other government sources. When a figure comes from a manufacturer, we say so.

What we do not do

  • We do not claim to have tested products unless that is true, and we never invent test results, ratings, awards or quotes.
  • We do not promise that an accessory fits a specific vehicle; we explain what to check.
  • We do not publish Amazon prices, star ratings or customer reviews.
  • We do not accept payment to include or rank a product.

Use of AI tools

AI tools help draft some articles. A person checks every article before publication; facts, numbers and safety statements are verified against sources, and anything we cannot verify is removed.

Corrections and updates

We review guides regularly, including before winter. If you find an error, please contact us.
